On Saturday the 20 July 2013, I played ‘Sigmund von Schnitzel’ – an Austrian circus ringmaster, and the ringmaster of ceremonies for UCT Ballroom’s Vaudeville Circus. This was UCT Ballroom’s first showcase of ballroom and latin dancing, and it was my job to give a voice to the production.
The character is a blend of the MC from Cabaret, a creepy clown, and my own questionable Austrian accent.
